In the garden of a century-old kominka in Shinshu, Nagano, the hanamomo — flowering peach — blooms each spring with quiet, unhurried grace. Its slender leaves, delicate yet persistent, became the motif of this piece.

Each brooch is cut by hand from a single sheet of brass, then pressed against an ancient stone in the atelier garden and shaped with a hammer. The result is a surface that no machine could create — alive with texture, shifting with every angle of light.
