In the garden of a century-old kominka in Shinshu, Nagano, grows a plant the Japanese have trusted for generations — dokudami (houttuynia cordata). Its heart-shaped leaves, quietly persistent through every season, became the soul of this piece.

The FUSION collection was born from a single act of intuition: pressing brass against the ancient stone of the atelier garden and striking it with a hammer. What emerged was a texture no machine could replicate — raw, alive, and entirely its own.

Earth at Your Throat

The Dokudami Code Choker brings together three materials that belong to the natural world: brass shaped by garden stone, a freshwater pearl, and a hand-finished cotton cord worn close to the skin. Choose Black for quiet strength, or Khaki for something closer to the earth itself.

The leaf rests at the base of the throat — present without demanding attention. The kind of piece you reach for without thinking, and notice only when it is gone.
