Shimenawa decorations are traditionally displayed after the big cleaning

from December 13th onwards,

and December 28th is considered an auspicious day to display them.

It is generally advisable to avoid displaying them from December 29th and 31st.

Caution:

＊If the floral materials used are left in a humid or high-temperature environment for an extended period, dye may bleed from cut edges, etc. Please be careful as this may stain clothing or wallpaper.

＊If placed in direct sunlight for an extended period, the color may fade more quickly than its natural lifespan. Normally, you can enjoy the color for about six months to a year.

＊The wreath comes with a cotton cord so it can be hung on hooks, etc. If hanging on a wall, to prevent potential stains, it is safer to place parchment paper or similar between the wreath and the wall.
