In the garden of a century-old kominka in Shinshu, Nagano, grows a plant the Japanese have trusted for generations — dokudami (houttuynia cordata). Its heart-shaped leaves, quietly persistent through every season, became the soul of this piece.

The FUSION collection was born from a single act of intuition: pressing brass against the ancient stone of the atelier garden and striking it with a hammer. What emerged was a texture no machine could replicate — raw, alive, and entirely its own.

Unlike the drop version, this Dokudami leaf sits directly against the ear — no chain, no distance between the metal and you. The brass leaf, shaped by hand against garden stone, rests at the earlobe as if it grew there. Simple in form. Anything but ordinary in feeling.
